I'm interested in picking up a Seiko Orange Monster so I go to princetonwatches.com and they have one there for $255. I also go to worldofwathces.com and they have one for about $162. After some digging around on both websites I am starting to realize that princeton is an authorized Seiko dealer and world of watches is not. One offers the original manuf warranty (princeton) while the other offers some other kind of warranty coverage (world of watches and others like it).
Is the cheaper price really worth not being able to return the watch to a certified Seiko factory repair center? I'm really not sure. Part of me thinks it would be better to pay the extra, go with the authorized dealer for the better coverage. World of Watches says their watches are 100% authentic so that shouldn't be a problem, right?
Has anyone had any experiences wtih this kind of thing? Anyone have a purchas(es) that you had to send back for warranty work to a seller like worldofwatches? Any thoughts at all?
I tried to search the forums for similar thread but could not find one so I apologize if this has been discussed already.
Thanks.
