DB 25 Collection

The case, in 18kt rose or white gold, measures 44.6mm x 11.1mm. It has double sapphire crystals and is water resistant to 50 meters.

Movement is the hand-wound in-house caliber DB2105si with 29 jewels, beating at 28,800 bph and with a power reserve of 6 days thanks to double barrels. Functions are hour, minutes, moon phase indication, and power reserve indication on the back.

The dial is silvered gold, and has been guilloched entirely by hand. The famous De Bethune spherical moon can be seen on the dial. It is flame-blued by hand and dotted with gold stars. Consisting of two hemispheres, one in steel and the other in platinum, the moon sphere rotates on its own axis. This enables the various movements of the celestial body to be reproduced as an exact representation of what one can see in the sky. The mechanism for turning the sphere has been calculated so accurately that it will take 122 years for it to be out of step by a single day.
